My data from Strava doesn’t match up with SmashRun: The distance is incorrect on SmashRun by 4/10th of a mile. Photos included=)
When I look at the raw data returned from Strava I see that the first GPS point returned has a distance of 0.41 miles. Currently Smashrun expects the first point to be 0 distance, so the total distance is offset by that much.
Any thoughts on why Strava would start counting 0.41 miles in? Did you record the run with the Strava app? Is it possible it didn’t get a GPS lock until then, and used cadence to estimate the start of the run?
I did use the Strava app - not sure when it locked in on my GPS location. I’m running the same route Friday - I’ll know more when the stats come in.
Thanks for looking into this
